At Kudos, we strongly believe that kids must be appreciated for what they do. Be it a small deed or a great accomplishment, because appreciation fuels the child’s mind and empowers them to go beyond and do more. Most importantly, children are loved and made to feel cherished so that they approach life with a positive attitude.
The journey of Kudos began in 2009 with its first branch in East Tambaram. We offer a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children.
Ms. Sindhu believes strongly in nurturing meaningful values in children through a conscious, harmonious, and fun-filled early childhood education system. With that discernment and passion, she created Kudos Playschool along with her team of accomplished professionals who have experienced years of relentless focus and concerted effort in the early learning space. She has a profound understanding of the dynamics and diverse aspects of early childhood education and care. The vast and ever- growing number of preschools and childcare environments operating under Kudos Playschool bear testimony to this fact.
Put into her own words Ms. Sindhu Sreekumar humbly says, The Playschool phase is very important in the life of a child. The learning has to be basic and deep. It is in this phase that a child is slowly and friendly initiated into the wider world away from the comforts of home and the cozy laps of parents and loved ones. It’s a home away from home. A right start in a playschool can give a child a head start on long-term educational success with enthusiasm and courage. The need is that the child should be highly imaginative and creative. Besides being able to mingle, share, and socialize without any inhibition. Children seek to learn many early social skills and manners from the environment they are surrounded by. It is often the first environment where they realize that they are not the center of the universe. They will begin to learn to share, taking turns, following directions and will gain a sense of pride in their independence. Hence, at Kudos, we appreciate children who make the world a better place.
Which one sounds better? Imagine your child sitting with a face mask in school and a child sitting from the comfort of their home? Without a doubt, it is having your child beside you. Hence, we opt for Virtual teaching.
Technology has melted walls of schools and the schools have silently floated into humps. Through that small screen which made us slaves, we are still screen slaves but this time for a good reason. Learning is happening through handheld devices and that too smartly. There is no need for any child to feel clouded of isolation because we are designing lessons for children which will facilitate only 30 minutes of screen time. The key lies in connecting with them. We are getting trained daily and excited for the year ahead. We are left buzzing with ideas about how to make the class interesting and joyful.
We are focusing on l istening skills as they are very important because they help children learn how to develop language skills. Currently inculcating some models of active listening to the curriculum which further enhances the learning and development.
As a parent you give your children a good start in life—you nurture, protect, and guide them. Parenting is a process that prepares a child for independence. As your child grows and develops, there are many things you can do to help your child. This will help you learn more about your child’s development, positive parenting, safety, and health at each stage of your child’s life.
At Kudos, we appreciate children who make the world a better place.
